CITIZEN-Centered Customer
Service (CCCS)
CCCS provides the refinement of
techniques of communication and customer service skills to create a
culture of service excellence. It returns to the basics: government by
the people, for the people! Most cities want to change a “regulating
legacy” into an “enabling reality” and this workshop shows your
employees how to do it! |
Details - A white tablecloth with one tiny ink
spot on it is more that 99 percent clean. But every person who
sees it will remember the stain, not the rest of the cloth!
Creativity - Creativity is asking questions
when others have given up finding solutions.
Curiosity - Why do we do it this way? Should
we be doing it this way? Should we be doing it at all? What should we be
doing?
Drive - True success in life means recognizing
a balance between family, friends and colleagues. Have you done a
reality check to see if you are cheating any of these partners?
Ethics - It is not whether it is legal or
illegal; it’s whether it’s right or wrong!
Initiative - Is not seizing the moment, it is
seizing the future!
Loyalty - Loyalty is an all-important virtue.
Blind loyalty does no one any good. Know who and what your loyalty
stands for!
Strategy - An organization’s members need to
have a sense for the direction of the organization and how their actions
support that direction.
Vision -“I skate to where the puck is going to be, not where
it has been.” Wayne Gretzky

Training Needs
Assessment that Promote Professional Credibility
We are often asked what really matters in
establishing credibility in an HR Department. Most experts will tell you
that handling the core functions of the Department with competence and
consistency is a key to success. At The Training Tree we can do training
needs assessment that will target developmental areas for your
organization within a budget that you can afford. Let Steve show you how
you can assess your needs and start delivering training that will meet
them. Establish your own internal Training Academy concept with training
tracts. By tracking classes, producing registration lists, and creating
certificates employees begin to realize that the organization is serious
about employee development. At the Training Tree we can help you
accomplish these initiatives starting from a Training Needs Analysis and
moving into designing training in-house using internal and external
trainers. For further information contact Steve by phone or e-mail.

Collaborative Review: Improving Your Operations
If you have a department that has
a desire to improve efficiency and effectiveness in delivering services
a collaborative review is a process perfect for the undertaking. A
collaborative review is not an audit report prepared by a consultant on
what is “right” or “wrong” with a department. It is not the preparation
of a report on the “health” of a department. Collaborative reviews are
a proactive look by the department itself employing a facilitator. It
is the department making assessments, reviews of operations, and
changes. It is the Department focusing on asking the right questions of
itself and moving towards improvement.
The purpose of a review is to assess the
effectiveness of the department’s services and functions by that very
department. Is the department meeting the expectations of its customers?
Does the department reflect the organization’s mission, vision, and
values? Does the department act as an enabling force within the
organization? Is it utilizing best practices in the industry? Has it
identified improvement areas and developed plans to address these areas.
There's an advantage to having the review facilitated by an external
consultant. The external consultant has experience with other
organizations and has fewer biases about the organization. Thusly the
consultant has less personal interest in the outcome of certain
recommendations and directions the department chooses to take. If you
feel you have a department that could gain for the experience contact
Steve for further information.
