Collaborative Reviews

The Training Tree's Collaborative Reviews are just the answer. A collaborative review is not an audit report prepared by a consultant on what is “right” or “wrong” with a department.  It is a facilitated process where the department makes an assessment of where it wants to be, where it is, and begins the journey to get there. It was developed to show departments how to harness the power of their employees in making assessments, recommendations, and changes to improve their operation. In other processes a report card of what is wrong with the department is created that often puts a stigma on employees and divisions within the department.  In collaborative reviews the department drives its own improvement in a systematic way.  It is the department making assessments, reviews of operations, and changes.  It is the department focusing on asking the right questions of itself and moving towards improvement.

The purpose of a review is to facilitate change by the employees who know the operations better than anyone else.  It enables the organization to move forward completely energized by employee ideas.  The result is employees know that they made the changes and improved the organization by their efforts.  They are more supportive and protective of the department as they become a more involved stakeholder in the department.  Let Steve facilitate this process and involve your employees and harness "energy" into "action".
